Ball Park Music

Over 15 years into their career, everything Ball Park Music does these days feels like a victory lap. The Brisbane indie darlings have long established their status as one of Australia’s most revered and endearing bands – with five of their seven albums having debuted in the ARIA top five, four of their songs having gone platinum and no less than a dozen Hottest 100 placements to their name. Most bands in that position would be happy to coast out their days on heyday nostalgia alone, but if it wasn’t already clear: Ball Park Music are not most bands.

Kicking off 2023 with ‘Stars In My Eyes’ reaching top 10 of triple j’s Hottest 100, and selling out nearly every show on the ‘Get The F**king Nerds Back On!’ national tour, Ball Park Music is truly proving themselves as one of Australia’s biggest bands of the last 10 years with an incredible catalogue of songs that have soundtracked so many lives.

Darcie Haven

Born on a remote Western Australian farm in Esperance, indie-pop singer-songwriter Darcie Haven is swiftly cementing herself as the ultimate voice for millennial meltdown and Gen-Z heartbreak. Crafting songs that hit like an open journal, Darcie channels emotional isolation and personal chaos into a sound that is brutally honest, darkly playful, and devastatingly sincere – drawing comparisons to the likes of Holly Humberstone and Phoebe Bridgers.

Taught to sing by her mother and self-taught on guitar at age eleven, Darcie debuted with her 2022 single “I Wanna Be”. Since then, she has amassed over 650,000 YouTube views and 3.6 million TikTok likes, building a fanatical community dubbed the “Darciverse”.
Her meteoric rise peaked (for now) with her August 2025 sophomore EP, Angel of the Apocalypse, which equated short-lived relationships to a literal doomsday scenario. The record debuted at #2 on the ARIA Australian Album Charts and #11 globally. Its lead single, “Doomsday,” became a triple j phenomenon, propelling a national headline tour that sold out 80% of its tickets within 24 hours.

Having shared stages with Banks, Vance Joy, DMA’s and Holy Holy, Darcie is executing a sonic metamorphosis with her 2026 single, “Wishbone”. Trading her traditional indie-pop for electronic flourishes and driving guitars, the track tackles the walk of shame and the war between pride and habit. As triple j’s Anika Luna notes, “Darcie Haven world domination is on the horizon”.

The Tullamarines

The amalgamation of four distinct voices from Adelaide, The Tullamarines tell their stories through a shared perspective that feels intimate, honest, and quietly uplifting. Josh, Angus, Benny and Lucinda met on the local gig circuit, quickly bonding over a mutual love of songwriting and collaboration. From those early connections, they’ve crafted a sound that reflects each member’s individual sensibilities – a style they affectionately call cosy-pop.

Their songs move through life’s highs and lows with the warmth of an old friend, inviting listeners into their living room, putting the kettle on, and sitting with whatever feeling the day brings. That sense of closeness runs through both their recorded work and their live shows. Having appeared on festival line-ups including Beyond The Valley, Woodford Folk Festival, Laneway Festival, Spin Off Festival and New Year’s Eve on the Hill, and toured extensively alongside artists such as Old Mervs, The Preatures, Ball Park Music and Alex Lahey, The Tullamarines continue to build a reputation for heartfelt songwriting and deeply human performances.
